The Cancer Awareness Event has always been one that I feel the need to participate in. Cancer has personally touched my life several times with several people. With my fourth year participating, I'm honoring my aunt who was recently diagnosed with brain cancer.

• Yarn: Andean Treasure shown in Finnley Heather, Mystery Heather, Fog Heather, and Embers Heather
• Hook: Furls Odyssey H 5.0mm (or hook to obtain gauge)
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle
• Measuring Tape

14 dc by 7 rows = 4”

R5: Ch 1, esc in same and next 2, 2 esc in next, *esc in next 3, 2 esc in next, repeat from * around, join – 40 sts
R6: Ch 1, esc in same and next 3, 2 esc in next, *esc in next 4, 2 esc in next, repeat from * around, join – 48 sts
